| The Eagle River Recreation Area facilities include a
warm-up shelter with a stove and fireplace (and wood), outdoor bathrooms,
well, fire pit, horse shoe pits, volley ball area, ball diamond, teeter-totters,
picnic tables and loading ramp. It is located 13 km northwest of Whitecourt
on Highway 32. |
| It is open to snowmobilers free of charge from December
1st until May 1st. There are 88 km of maintained, signed designated
trails with a warm-up shelter and toilet facilities at various locations
along the way. A trail pass donation box is located on the route map
sign kiosk, as well as at the warm-up shelter on the Athabasca loop.Trail
passes may be purchased from club members as well as from McLeod River
Performance and RPM Sports. |

| It is available for the general public to book seven
days a week from May 1st to October 1st inclusive. It is suitable
for family events such as weddings, reunions, birthday and anniversary
parties and as well for work-place functions. |
Bookings
Bookings are done through the Whitecourt & District Chamber of
Commerce at 780-778-5363 and are by phone only, on a first-come, first
call basis, starting January 2nd of each year. A deposit must be made
