Event Description:  This course is reinforcing the student's ability to form sentences and convey messages. Participants will begin by reviewing level one. It will be stronly encouraged to sign only without the aid of our voices. Participants will experience what it is like to be in a deaf-life culture by signing only. ASL grammar, facial expressions and deaf culture will be a part of the learning experience. Level 1 is a pre-requisite to Level 2. Participants must have "A Basic Course in American Sign Language" manual (newest edition) as Level 2 refers to lessons 6-12. Upon successful completion, a certificate will be issued. One days absence is acceptable, however, any more than that, the instructor is unable to issue a certificate. Lee is a freelance instructor, therefore, a certificate will not be issued through a recognized institution. The program is for general interest and is a non-credit program.
